I was having Valentines brunch together with the Fashiolista crew, Chiara and Angie at a place called Vin et Fleurs and I had to share. They get new flowers in every single day and I love little details like that. And apart from the super cute interior, the food was delicious. Yum!

Taking away your ‘what did you buy at Scoop?’ curiosity. I got myself this nice loose Helmut Lang tanktop. Good to get in a spring/summer mood with this horrible cold here in New York. Luckily the sun is shining every single day so that helps a lot.

Super nice Tommy Hilfiger jacket / the monkey mountain of photographers is defo bigger than the one in Amsterdam / first time I saw Anna Wintour for real and it looks like she’s almost smiling at me (I know she isn’t but let a girl dream) / my favourite looks down the Tommy Hilfiger runway / do I need a hat like that or what? / meeting up with the gorgeous Rachel Duister from Fashionology / acting like a serious groupy and getting a picture with my favourite creative director in the whole wide world, Joe Zee

I attended the Tommy Hilfiger show last night and it was absolutely amazing. It was such a great experience to go to a show that big and I feel really blessed for that. I don’t own any TH piece and haven’t own one ever before, but I will definately be on the hunt for one of those floppy hats next winter. They’re so perfect!

Speaking of hunts, I am about to go for brunch and then go search for a pair of sneakers for Lesley. Too bad we can’t celebrate Valentines day together, but I guess it’s just commercial bullshit anyway. Still, Happy Valentines day!

ps: Excuse the gigantic scarf, but my throat is not working with me, again. I gotta see a doctor as soon as I get home, cause I’m coughing for over a month and a half now.

I started my day yesterday waking up early to view the General Idea menswear collection. It was the first day for me to hit the Lincoln Center and I was so excited, but at the same time a little nervous. Apparantly that wasn’t really necessary, cause everything went perfectly. After the show I went back to the hotel to meet up with the Fashiolista crew for some nice breakfast at this amazing place that I forgot the name of before heading to Soho to do some shopping.

Shopping always makes me forget about time a little, so I had to rush to the hotel to grab my ticket and then get to Lincoln Center for the G-Star show, all in 20 minutes. The rush was all worth it since I totally loved G-Star. To be honest, I’m not really a G-Star girl, but I was really seriously pleasantly surprised by the collection, especially with the menswear. I could see Lesley in a lot of items I saw. And myself in that cosy sleeveless coat.

There was also some serious mancandy going on frontrow. I’m not really the type of girl that gets a crush on celebrities very easily and I used to have a crush on Bradley Cooper exclusively, but when I spotted Jared Leto in real life last night, that fact changed a little. That guy is gorgeous! Same goes for Tyson Beckford, who I also saw a glimpse of when he headed backstage.

After the show, Andy, her boyfriend Richard and I went to Times Square for a little while before I headed back to the hotel to fall into sleep in a record time. I’ll show you what I bought at Scoop later, the Victoria’s Secret stuff I will keep for Lesley’s eyes only, LOL.
