Mixing prints is a little bit out of my comfort zone, since I’m usually dressed without a single print. But I thought these two prints, the splattered skirt and the leopard shoes were pretty fun together so I decided to embrace the beautiful weather and go for it. Hope you like it!

Lisa Galesloot
As some of you might have noticed, Lisa Galesloot has been taking most of my pictures for the last couple of weeks, so I thought it was about time to give her proper introduction. Here she is, introducing herself to you:
“You might have seen some pictures of me before and some of you already asked Sabrina about me. Today I will finally introduce myself to you.
I already functioned as her helping hand during the last few weeks. And as you all know Sabrina moved into her new office last monday, and I will be right next to her for the time coming, helping her out with her blog and all the great things around it.
Allright, now about me. Currently I am a 3rd year student of the Lifestyle & Design (BA) programme at the Willem de Kooning Academy in Rotterdam, and I am living in Amsterdam. My areas of concentration are photography, cinematography, fashion (styling), forecasting and material research. For Sabrina I work mainly as a photographer and I’m excited to be able to show you my work.
I have been following Sabrina since she started her blog and as soon as I saw how busy she was with it and at the same time hinted that she was going to look for an intern in the near future, I sent her my portfolio and wrote her a long letter telling her that I wanted to help her out. She was really enthusiastic (yay!) and a few days later we met. And now I’m writing this post for you.
If you want to see more of my work you can check out www.lisagalesloot.com. You can also follow me on twitter, where I post stuff about my personal life and the latest things Sabrina and I do for afterDRK.”

Last two photos by Amber Isabel for Elise Kim
I’d like to introduce you a fresh and young Dutch designer. On another pressday trip, I bumped into the designs of Elise Kim. She used leather strips for her collection to make a simple piece way more interesting. Though I have to admit I’m not too fond of the babypink items, I superlike the rest of the color scheme. Would love to wear one of those tops, jackets or dresses to an event. Maybe one day…

Moving day! Today is my first official day at my very own office, so I had to pick an outfit in which I could bike through the city with a big giant bag or four. Since a blog doesn’t really come with a giant set of office furniture and administration, I decided my bike was going to function as my moving truck. Apart from me being a bit wobbly with three heavy bags, it went perfectly fine!
The office is still a bit empty now, but I’ll show you some pictures when I decorated it a little. Anyways, feels good to be in the middle of the city of Amsterdam, with a view at the canals in the front and a view at one of the most beautiful gardens I have ever seen in the back.
