It’s funny that one of my readers emailed me asking me about my make-up routine and products for summer, while I was already preparing a post about that. I started using make-up when I was around 13 (just mascara, nothing really special) and I have tried tons of different brands ever since. From Chanel to cheaper brands, nothing really suited me as well as MAC does. I have been hooked to that brand for a couple of years now.

I just want to show you the products and colors I use on a daily basis. It’s not that I’m recommending these colors to anyone else, since everybody has their own favourite colors that match their skintone.

I have to be honest about the mascara though, I don’t always use this one, I just buy whatever’s on sale in the local drugstore. However, I like this one a lot. I usually also use foundation, but not during summer when I’m already tanned.

An outfit for a day filled with appointments, worn with my new black flat sandals from Pour la Victoire. Yes, I do wear flat sandals sometimes, I just find it very very hard to bump into the right pair, as I don’t fell in love with flat sandals too often. What do you think?

I did a really big purchase today, nothing fashion related though, I finally got myself a new Macbook Pro. I have been working with Apple since I bought my first Macbook Pro about 4 years ago and it was time for a new one.

Now the only thing left for me to get is an iPhone (so sick of my Blackberry) and I am totally Apple-ized.

After coming back from Curaçao I jumped into one hell of a busy, but surely fun week. I went to the opening of the Escada store at the P.C. Hooftstraat (probably the most expensive shopping street in Amsterdam with all the designer brands in a row, I usually never really go there). I also went to the event ELLE magazine organized to celebrate their second beach issue.

In the other three pictures, you can see my new shoes from Pour La Victoire, the (already famous?) nailpolish I got in Curacao on which I am receiving a lot of questions (it’s called Palm Tree from L.A. Colors, I don’t know if they sell that brand in a lot of places though) and the icecream I found hard to finish…

These Givenchy shoes would be a per-fect wardrobe update for me, those heels look pretty walkable to me. Would work the hell out of these, mixed with black jeans, a white t-shirt and this Low Luv x Erin Wasson bangle. Yummm.
