Whenever it’s too cold to go bare legged (which happens way too often lately, it’s freaking July!) I’m all about easy pants – loose pants in breezy materials. Combined with a simple top, blazer and one of my obviously favourite pair of pumps and I’m ready to go.

Finally, my new Macbook Pro has arrived! I had to wait for a couple of days because I wanted to have an antiglare display (better color quality) and they don’t have those in stock in the Apple store in Amsterdam. I decided to also get some other stuff to create some sort of real workspace at the afterDRK HQ, also because I don’t really want to end up as some hunchback blogger. I really have to get used to this though…

The story behind these biker shorts is that they used to be long leggings for chilling at home. Since there was a hole somewhere near my knee and I’m not really too fond of leggings anyway, I decided to give it a second chance as biker shorts. Even though it’s not really something very new and innovative, it works for me!

ps; This is my first day working from my new Macbook Pro, still have to install everything, but I’m loving it already. Out with the old, in with the new, feels great!

It’s a good sign when I want to wear something that I just bought as soon as I can, especially when it’s from next season’s collection. As soon as I walked out the Acne store, I wanted to take this jumper out of the shopping bag and wear it…for the rest of the week.
