Last Thursday, the Holland Casino organized a special night to ask the Dutchies to dress up a bit more when they go out. Dutch people are  famous for ignoring dresscodes and showing up in their jeans at black tie events, I’m not even kidding. I think it’s a pity and I personally love to get dressed up for a night out or for drinks/dinner with friends. It’s fun to make that special kind of effort every now and then and I think more people should actually do it. I mean, where’s the heels in Amsterdam?

These Nowhere pants are the best thing that happened to me in a while when it comes to hunting down items that are on my wishlist. I was looking for a good pair of wide legged pants for aaages and I was actually looking for simple black ones, but these are way more special. It’s nice to be changing up the skinny bottoms you usually see me in for a bit.

The happy I was with my leather pants that I found at H&M yesterday, the sad I was the next morning when I had it on and saw there was a gigantic hole at the bottom of them. Lucky me I was able to find a maybe even prettier replacement, a replacement that feels like a second skin. Combined with my fuzzy jumper and one of my most beautiful pair of heels (if you ask me ;)) it brings back the happiness immediately.
