Spending December someplace where it doesn’t feel like it’s December made me so happy. Spending it with the boyfriend made me even happier. These few days away from home and work were just absolutely perfect and I couldn’t imagine a start that’s more fresh than this one for 2012.

Happy New Year! I hope everyone had a blast last night? I sure did, hence the late new years update, I woke up in a room that could go for a set in The Hangover 3. Not kidding.

Anyway, 2011 was an a-ma-zing year, wasn’t it? Here’s 12 photos from the past year, to highlight a highlight from every month. It al started with a trip to Florence for LuisaViaRoma, before heading to New York, London, Paris, Antwerp, Stockholm, Milan and where not.

I moved into a new office, had Lisa to help me out for a while, worked together with Forever21, Balenciaga, Guerlain and more and organized my first (not the last!) event.

Thank you for making this all happen, thank you for reading afterDRK and for always fully supporting me. This blog would not be what it is today if it wasn’t for my readers. So cheers to you and to the new year ahead of us. May it be full of surprises.
