/burberry head to toe, even the make-up ;)

Last Thursday I had the honor to be one of the girls being dressed by the amazing Burberry for their store opening on the PC Hooftstraat in Amsterdam. I day before the opening, I had a fitting at the newly opened and very beautiful Conservatorium Hotel and I had a tough time choosing between all the pretty birds hanging in the rack. Am I going to wear a dress? Is it going to be a pair of skinny jeans with a transparent shirt? Or a classic trench? I went for this beige trenchcoat, with a darkbrown leather rim (beautifully crafted!) a darkblue skinny jean and a pair of killer heels with raffia detailing in the back. A good decision if you ask me, I’ve never been stopped so many times for what I was wearing.

ZOE AND LOLA
09:00 - 28/11/2011, ALL, hotspots

The Zoe and Lola pop-up store is just exactly what we needed in Amsterdam, if I may play fashion mayor for a second. Oh, if only I could decide what stores we do and don’t need in our shopping streets, the streets would look amazeballs. Zoe and Lola delivers the little Scandinavian oomph that I love so much to my country for a few weeks, a store that I definitely add to my shopping route.

ps: Don’t go get those Hope sandals which remind me a little bit of Céline in a 38, I might want those for myself ;)

ANSH46

There’s a new favorite store NOT in town. ANSH46 (AnotherShop46) in Rotterdam is one of those stores that you can’t really walk out without buying anything. It’s one of those very few stores that I could actually live in. Seriously, a small bed is all I need to live happily ever after.

ANSH46 sells brands like Alexander Wang,  3.1 Phillip Lim,  Whyred, Ready to Fish_ and they’re the first to actually be selling Rad Hourani. You already saw the item I took home with me (here), but it was so hard to choose, I should go back soon…very soon. Lucky me I don’t have to go all the way to Rotterdam anylonger, since they just opened their webshop.

ps: (Almost) Nothing feels better than a little bit of shopping with a good champagne in your hand.

Apart from wandering around in stores filled with clothes, shoes and what else endlessly, I can also get lost in bookstores like this. Remember I was in Antwerp a few weeks back? This gorgeous bookstore can be found right underneath the MoMu next to Renaissance (which is one of my favourite clothing stores in the city).

SOUP ENZO

Soup Enzo (Dutch for Etcetera) is an excellent place to stop by for lunch when you don’t want to go for a sandwich. They have the best fresh soups (etcetera) that fill up your tummy like no ordinary sandwich can. And it’s healthy too…what else do we need?!

These photos were taken at Nieuwe Spiegelstraat 54, but there’s also a Soup Enzo at Jodebreestraat 94a.
