As you may have seen there’s “Blazers in every color possible” on the wishlist on top of my blog and I think I’m slowly getting there. I can’t really describe the color of this one (peach, orange, rusty?) from Queens Wardrobe, but I think it’s genius. This blazer became my new addiction immediately after unwrapping it from it’s Fedex package this morning.
I spent my sunday paying a visit to Bastiaans Bazar, which is kind of a sample sale. There were lots of Dutch brands and some Dutch designers. I had planned on not buying anything and even though I saw a couple of super nice items, I kept my promise.

What does afterDRK mean?
It’s the time right after it just got dark.
When did you start blogging and why?
About 3 years ago, I used to follow a lot of blogs back then and was getting major inspiration from them. I wanted to see if I could give a little inspiration back and I find it a nice way to express myself.
How did you make your blog so successfull?
I don’t know how it exactly happens, it just did. I think it’s a long process of getting yourself out there on the internet.
How much time do you spend on your blog everyday?
A lot, it’s not only about making a post. It’s answering emails, going to interviews, events, fashionshows. Ofcourse all of this is a lot of fun, but it’s really busy as well.
How do you get invited to all those events?
By press agencies and brands.
What was your best blogging experience?
To get invited to Florence for LuisaViaRoma’s 10th year anniversary.
What camera and photoediting programm do you use?
A Canon 450D and Photoshop.
Who takes your pictures?
Lesley does and I don’t think my blog would even exist without him.
When and how did you get interested in fashion?
My mom teached me I think. When I was about 3 and she put me in a new dress, I used to run upstairs to a big mirror to see how I looked.
Have you ever been recognized on the street? How did you feel about it?
Yes, a couple of times. I think it’s one of the best things to meet my readers in real life, so I can see who’s behind the comments and all.
When did your blog really hit off?
Back in November, when I started to take it more seriously.
How did you meet Andy from Stylescrapbook.com?
We recognized each other from our blogs during Amsterdam Fashion Week.
Which other fashionblogger is your best friend?
I can get along really well with Andy and Yara from Thischicksgotstyle.com.
Do you have any tips for new bloggers?
Be yourself, be original and creative and take proper pictures.

The title has nothing to do with my mood, but it’s obviously all about this vintage blazer that I got a while ago. It’s 100% silk and immediately got me at my weak spot when trying it on.
