This wooden hand from HAY is going to be my new nightstand friend -I do not own a nightstand just yet, but hey you have got to start somewhere. This hand is originally not meant to serve as a jewelry stand, but I think it is perfect for it! Jewelry favorites should be displayed in a way that makes choosing in the morning super easy and this is just about the ultimate solution for me. Thank you mom!
Tell me, how do you keep your jewelry?ph/private
Sometimes I choose to just let the accessories do all the work. Everybody can look good in a white t-shirt and jeans, so it is not a very surprising fact that I like this combination super much, but what I like even more is to spice it up with gadgets -that is what I call my accessories every now and then.ph/lesley van haren

I got so many impressions today, that I’m not sure how to start writing this post, what I want to point out and what now and how to end it. Instead of writing a big piece, I think I’ll leave you guys with a couple of the many shots Anna and I took during our first day playing around in fashion circus (circus in a good way).
Oh, and the Rick Owens show took my breath away… I was so much dragged into his collection (and the cool music that was pumping through the speakers!) and the whole vibe of the venue that I wasn’t even able to take some proper photos. To make up for my bad photography, I took a little bit off of Style.com to show you my favorite looks. I love how mr. Owens played around with a little bit of tan and some washed pink and that he showed us bits of checkered fabrics. Boxy leather jackets will be added to my wishlist, I can tell you that.
ps1: As if my day couldn’t get any better, Bill Cunningham told us that ‘us kids looks SO beautiful’.
ps2: Another highlight of the day was when Anna realized she was wearing her shoes on the wrong feet, I kid you not!

The happy I was with my leather pants that I found at H&M yesterday, the sad I was the next morning when I had it on and saw there was a gigantic hole at the bottom of them. Lucky me I was able to find a maybe even prettier replacement, a replacement that feels like a second skin. Combined with my fuzzy jumper and one of my most beautiful pair of heels (if you ask me ;)) it brings back the happiness immediately.
