TRANSITIONING TO PARIS
12:26 - 30/09/2012, ALL, diary

These shots were taken at the beautiful harbour area of Monterey back in the United States. I am currently trying to recover from a humongous jetlag just in time to join Paris an its Fashion Week madness. Admitting it was nice to be able to literally fly away from all of it for ten days, I am more than ready for a three day marathon in heels. See you in Paris?

Hope sweater, Marc by Marc Jacobs scarf, Céline bag and Zara sandals.

TIME FOR KNITS
09:00 - 20/09/2012, ALL, outfits

Ever since I got this Hope jumper, I have been secretly living in it. It is warm, which made it perfect worn with shorts for the colder summer nights. And with fall officially hitting off tomorrow, I guess I am going to pull it off of my clothing rack – fully equipped with frequently worn pieces – even more often. It really does not need more than a pair of cool jeans – from Paige in this case – and I love pieces like that. We sure all know by now who makes the shoes.

When I read on the beautiful Elin Kling’s blog these amazing sweaters were back in stock I could not wait but get my hands on one of them. It is truly the most amazing jumper I have ever seen and really all it needs is a pair of leather shorts and hefty heels.

I was wearing a Hope jumper, last years H&M Trend leather shorts and shoes from Céline.

Ph/Lisa Galesloot for afterDRK and me

Day three and at the same time the last day (no worries, it’s not the last post) of Stockholm Fashion Week carried few of my favourite shows of the week, but also few of my least favourite. As much as I loved Hope and Hernández Cornet in particular, Jennifer Blom and Mayla weren’t really my cup of tea. That ofcourse had a lot to do with my personal taste. I’m usually not too fond of girly dresses and that’s what both those shows mainly showed.

Hope on the other hand was super nice. It was all about the color klein blue, which I think is absolutely a gorgeous color, especially when used for the sleeves of a cool leather jacket. That jacket and also the ethnic skirt were my favourite pieces of the show. Not to speak about Hernández Cornet…she blew me away with her simple, but very edgy pieces. This might even be the best collection I’ve seen during Fashion Week.
