zara dress, worn front to back, new balance sneakers

This is only the second time I am wearing this dress and -just like I did with its debut- I wore little to no accessories. This dress just screams minimalism and even though it does not have my name written all over and I wore it only twice in a year, I somehow want to keep it in my closet. It is one of the few garment I had altered to fit my height and wearing it makes me realize I should take some more pieces to the tailor. It is just that I can not seem to find a good one in Amsterdam and I do not trust any other one of them.

Recommendations are more than welcome. I still have to get my Margiela suit altered a bit, but I am a little scared.

This is how I roll each and every single day no matter what I am wearing – whether it is silver pants and sneakers or a fancy dress – or what the weather does. I do not have a car (my boyfriend does though and I am free to use it but I never do) and I rarely take public transport. Bikes are everywhere in Amsterdam, there is actually even more bikes than people if I am correct, and it is the quickest way to get around.

Just when I thought it was freezing when I wore the Stella McCartney jumpsuit, the weather has turned into actually freezing. There’s a real feel of -17 degrees Celsius going on in Amsterdam right now and I don’t know how I’m going to survive. I guess I’ll be piling on more layers everyday! How do you guys do it?

Finally, the search for a nice and perfect suit has come to an end. I’m not lying when I say I tried on about over 99 suits/trousers/jackets before I found this friend over here. I’m also not lying when I say it took me less than 99 seconds before I firgured I needed to take home this suit. I mean, it’s multimultifunctional. The jacket and trousers can be worn separately with anything, all dolled up and with sky high heels for a fancy night out or dressed down for an I-wear-heels-at-the-office-but-I-take-the-subway-all-the-time kinda look, like in these photos.

Yes, I’m going bare ankled in the middle of December, but it’s not that cold yet. We’re going to drop down at least another 25 degrees Celsius in January if I have to believe the weatherman, so I have to prepare myself no?
