Going in a more sophisticated -with less colors and prints- collection, Ready to Fish_ presented their new collection called ‘In Motion‘ in Amsterdam on Tuesday. Inspired by movement of dancers, they came up with clean cuts and simple pieces, while trying to keep it refreshing. Going through the collection, I fell for the amount of white, a black semi-sheer long shirtdress and a coated dark jeans -which is nothing new, but I have never seen such a nicely done coating before.

After an amazing show from Tiger of Sweden filled with lots of whites, symmetry and a gorgeous clutch made in both black and white (gotta have that white one), Stockholm Fashion Week is a wrap. I seriously had such an amazing time exploring the city in a different way than I have ever done before. I have always been a huge fan of Scandinavian fashion and I seriously thought my love for it couldn’t grow any bigger but it actually did. See you next year!

Since it’s going to be raining for at least 12 days in the upcoming 15 days in Amsterdam, I thought I might as well embrace the weather. I’m currently in post-Fashion Week mode, recovering from the overload of fashion (both good and bad) I saw, hence the extremely simple outfit.

On other notes, as some of you might have read on my Facebook page, I finally went to a decent hairdresser (instead of cutting it myself). She chopped off quite a bit and is going to make my hair supercool next Tuesday. Can you guess what I’m going to do with my hair?

This is what I wore to the Ready to Fish_ collection presentation. Pants from one of their old collections, pants that Lesley hates to the max (you either love ‘em or hate ‘em), pants that I cut off the morning I put them on. They were at least 20cm longer than they are right now, can you imagine? Anyway, I kinda like the result of the raw hem on these super feminine pants.

Amsterdam Fashion Week will kick off tomorrow with two shows and I can’t wait to show you the dress I will be wearing…I can tell you it’s super cool!

There’s nothing better than a good lunch in between new Ready to Fish_ looks for spring/summer 2012. Looks that mix bold and tough pieces with super femininity. Simple pieces from a special fabric, a nice wash, or with a cool asymmetrical twist that give the item this extra edge that I always love. Few of my favourite looks were the ones in the first, second and seventh photo. Definitely some items that I wouldn’t mind adding to my wardrobe.
